Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) is the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) allocating agency for the State of Connecticut. The federal LIHTC program requires each state agency that allocates tax credits to have a Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The QAP sets out the state's eligibility priorities and criteria for awarding federal tax credits to housing properties.
The public is hereby notified that CHFA will hold a public hearing and a public comment period to receive data, views and comments with respect to its QAP.
The public hearing will take place on June 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm at CHFA's offices at 999 West Street, Rocky Hill.
The public comment period will take place from June 2, 2019 through close of business on July 1, 2019. All interested persons are encouraged to submit data, views and comments, at the public hearing or alternatively, in writing during the comment period.
Information on the LIHTC program, including the 2019 QAP, which is unchanged from 2018, is available to review by visiting www.chfa.org (Home page under Quick Links). Written statements may be submitted to CHFA, 999 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 to the attention of Terry Nash. Alternatively, written comments may be emailed to terry.nash@chfa.org.
