Rocky Hill – The Board of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) has appointed Timothy Bannon as President – Executive Director, Chairperson Rolan Joni Young announced today. Mr. Bannon, a 1977 graduate of the Yale University Law School who has worked extensively in both the public and private sector, is currently the Special Counsel for External Affairs of Purdue Pharma, and has served as Commissioner of the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, and as Assistant Deputy Treasurer in the Office of the Treasurer of the State of Connecticut. “Tim has strong leadership skills, and our confidence in his ability to work with CHFA’s staff, external customers, and constituencies, and his commitment to serving the residents of the State of Connecticut, particularly during these difficult economic times, demonstrated to us that he would be an asset to CHFA. We look forward to working with Tim to maximize the effective and prudent use of CHFA’s resources to the benefit of Connecticut’s residents,” said Rolan Joni Young, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
