The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) is pleased to announce it is holding a public comment period at its September Board meeting at its offices in Rocky Hill. Members of the public will be able to voice their questions, concerns and comments directly to CHFA’s Board of Directors. The Board of Directors looks forward to hearing from as many people as possible about the wide range of housing issues facing Connecticut residents.
Anyone wishing to speak on any housing matter may sign up with CHFA. In order to ensure that everyone who wishes to has the opportunity to speak, we ask that comments be limited to five minutes. If necessary due to a large volume of speakers, comments may be limited to three minutes.
The Board meeting will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Speakers will be heard in the order they sign up on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to sign up, please contact Mary Bryant at firstname.lastname@example.org
, or by calling 860.571.4221. You will be asked to provide the general topic you will be addressing as well as contact information. Participants may also sign up in person on the day of the meeting.
The Board meeting will begin at 10:00 AM, with the first agenda item being the public comment portion. All speakers are invited to stay and listen to the other agenda items. The first item on the agenda will be the public comment period.
